PRIVACY POLICY
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") details how MoodJoy ("we", "our", or "us") manages personal data collected from individuals who utilize the MoodJoy mobile application ("App" or "MoodJoy"). These terms apply to the App along with all connected features, functionalities, digital content, and provisions offered through it (collectively, the "MoodJoy Services"). This document details our methodologies for gathering, utilizing, maintaining, and safeguarding your data, alongside the legal options and rights available to you.
To maintain compliance with international data protection frameworks (such as the EU GDPR and U.S. COPPA) and to safeguard minors, MoodJoy strictly bars individuals under the age of 18 (or the specific age of majority dictated by local regional legislation) from setting up accounts. This structural prohibition covers every facet of the MoodJoy Services, including user content generation and peer-to-peer applications.
If you have not reached this mandatory age, you are prohibited from utilizing or accessing any MoodJoy Services. We do not intentionally gather, store, or handle personal data belonging to minors. In the event that such data is inadvertently collected, it will be scrubbed from our systems immediately upon discovery in compliance with legal mandates.
By interacting with, browsing, or utilizing any component of the MoodJoy Services—including setting up a profile, deploying tools within the application, or participating in live broadcasts—you explicitly acknowledge and verify that:
You have read and reviewed this Policy in its entirety;
You fully comprehend how your information is gathered, managed, stored, and processed, alongside your corresponding data rights;
You agree to follow all conditions and stipulations outlined within this Policy.
If you object to any portion of this Privacy Policy, you must stop utilizing or accessing all MoodJoy Services immediately. Please be aware that your ongoing engagement with MoodJoy Services following any modifications to this text serves as your absolute acceptance of the revised conditions.
To deliver, refine, and protect MoodJoy Services, we gather data through several pipelines. The specific categories, mechanisms, and justifications for data collection are detailed below:
This category encompasses data you intentionally input while engaging with MoodJoy Services. It is mandatory for account deployment, accessing core platform systems, or finalizing specific transactions. Without these details, requested features cannot be provisioned.
Primary Identity Details: Your registered mobile phone number or external platform credentials (if you log in via interconnected networks like social media platforms). We pull only the baseline information needed for authentication, such as a unique third-party identifier, rather than your complete external profile.
Profile Customization: Your designated avatar picture, nickname, chosen gender, birth date, and optional self-introduction text.
Supplemental Preferences: You may choose to share your interests or content preferences to optimize your discovery experience, though this remains entirely optional.
When utilizing specific application operations (such as making purchases or publishing media), you must supply scenario-specific details:
User-Generated Content (UGC): When posting videos, images, or remarks, we collect that specific material along with associated metadata (such as file creation device parameters and upload timestamps).
In-App Financial Transactions: When purchasing Premium Services, subscriptions, or virtual items, you must submit transactional elements (payment types and billing addresses). We do not record complete credit card numbers or highly sensitive financial credentials; these transactions are handled entirely by fully licensed external payment processors.
Customer Care Interaction: When reaching out to support channels via email or chat tools, we gather your account identifier, problem descriptions, illustrative screenshots, or contact details to facilitate follow-ups.
Even when navigating the platform without an active account, our servers, native application code, and approved third-party utilities automatically record specific structural data regarding your technical setup and behavior to maintain stability, optimize experiences, and mitigate safety concerns.
We look at foundational device properties to verify software compatibility, fix bugs, and flag unpermitted access:
Device Identifiers: Unique hardware identifiers (including Android ID, IMEI, and IDFA codes), physical device models, and your current operating system version.
Network Topology Data: Your current IP address, underlying connection types (such as cellular networks or Wi-Fi configurations), and your hardware MAC address.
Application Lifecycle Data: Initial software installation timestamps, upgrade timelines, localized language parameters, and system crash diagnostic reports.
Microphone Access: If you explicitly enable microphone permissions to use audio-centric utilities, we process the audio information captured or broadcast through your hardware microphone.
We review how you navigate the MoodJoy Services to isolate user preferences, fix features, and deliver custom materials:
Navigation Logs: Records of screens viewed, duration metrics per feature, and localized actions (such as sending message strings within the app).
Feature Consumption Data: The deployment frequencies of specific system modules, such as virtual asset mechanics.
Note: Automatically compiled logs do not contain directly identifying personal details (such as your legal name or phone number) unless you have previously linked an established account profile to that hardware or behavioral history.
In specialized circumstances, we source details about you from reputable external vendors. This occurs strictly alongside your explicit confirmation (where dictated by law) or under the permitted conditions of that third party’s operational terms:
External Authentication Services: If you access MoodJoy via third-party systems (like Google or Facebook), we retrieve baseline profile elements (such as user handles and avatars) under your authorization. We will not grab extra details without distinct, standalone consent.
Security and Regulatory Compliance Networks: Where demanded by legal frameworks (such as anti-fraud operations) or during security breaches (such as account hijacking cases), we may acquire data via identity verification services, fraud prevention platforms, or law enforcement bodies.
Data Minimization: We restrict data collection strictly to what is necessary to run and improve MoodJoy Services. No unrelated processing occurs without your consent.
Permission-Driven Controls: For highly sensitive device access points (such as geographical locations or microphone feeds), we prompt you for explicit authorization within the software. These parameters can be toggled off at any point through your underlying operating system settings, though this may limit your ability to use related features.
Anonymization Procedures: We may scrub or aggregate gathered datasets to convert individual information into high-level behavioral analysis. This data ceases to be personal information and may be used for market research, platform optimization, or shared with external affiliates.
We operate under strict mandates of transparency, lawfulness, and practical necessity. The metrics we compile are tied directly to running MoodJoy Services and are never repurposed for undisclosed avenues without your consent.
We use your data first and foremost to give you stable, expected access to MoodJoy Services. Without these processes, basic tasks cannot function:
Account Supervision: Using your phone number, password, or third-party credential links to verify who you are, block illegal access attempts, and assist with profile recovery via verification text messages.
Feature Execution: Deploying device parameters (such as camera/microphone rights and network status indicators) to execute basic in-app tools, and leveraging transaction profiles to execute virtual asset recharges and order receipts.
System Troubleshooting: Leveraging crash diagnostics, OS editions, and device variants to resolve bugs and elevate cross-device compatibility.
Voice Collection: When you choose to use Voice Mood Analysis, MoodJoy records the 5-20 second voice recording that you actively provide. The recording is uploaded to servers operated by MoodJoy and analyzed by MoodJoy's self-hosted Al service. We use the recording only to provide the reguested voice mood analysis. MoodJoy will not send the recording to any third-party Al provider. The temporary recording on your device is deleted after successful processing, cancellation, orabandonment of the feature.
We use data analysis to alter MoodJoy Services to match your habits and make platform navigation more streamlined:
Custom Recommendations: Reviewing your material consumption habits and self-reported interests to highlight relevant features, events, or UGC.
Interface Adjustments: Reviewing high-level usage metrics to modify screen presentation layouts and reduce application latency.
Localization: Deploying language preferences and approximate geographic data derived from your IP address (with your consent) to deliver correct time zones, text strings, and regional materials.
Protecting accounts, user data, and the general MoodJoy framework is a major focus. We look at data traits to intercept issues like fraud, user harassment, and terms violations:
Account Safety Monitoring: Tracking authentication patterns (such as device IDs and IP locations) to identify unusual logins (e.g., cross-border entries contrasting with local baselines) and run safety challenges. We also send security alerts to your linked mobile number when account attributes change.
Abuse and Content Monitoring: Examining submitted text patterns (like comments) and communication records to detect and purge prohibited content (such as explicit materials or hate speech) and penalize violating profiles per our Terms of Use.
Regulatory Compliance: Processing records to fulfill legitimate governmental or police requests, such as asset tracking during fraud cases, or to comply with statutory data laws.
We use contact details and support histories to maintain operational loops:
System Updates: Pushing essential informational briefs (such as updates to this Policy or our Terms) via text alerts or in-app alerts. These communications are mandatory for service management and cannot be disabled unless you close your account.
Support Resolution: Sourcing account references, problem histories, and transactional details to fix customer service issues, like tracking down missing digital purchases or restoring profiles.
We convert data into anonymized formats (completely breaking the link between the metrics and your identity) for internal analysis, service tracking, and statistical modeling. This material carries no individual privacy risk.
No Unauthorized Exploit: We do not trade or rent data to external marketing companies, and we will not expand data uses beyond this Policy without your written approval.
Revoking Authorization: You can cancel permissions for non-essential systems (like customized marketing profiles) via your in-app Privacy Settings. Doing so may limit access to tailored elements of the app.
Proportional Processing: We limit processing to the lowest amount of data required to fulfill the stated goal.
We do not rent, sell, or disclose personal data to third parties for outside marketing campaigns. Data sharing is limited to scenarios that support MoodJoy Services or fulfill legal mandates.
We pass limited data to verified vendors assisting our operations. These contractors are bound by strict agreements to handle data only for our designated tasks and maintain tight security protocols.
To fulfill premium subscriptions and digital asset purchases, select transactional metrics are passed to authorized payment systems to safely move funds. This data includes:
Your MoodJoy account reference code (to attribute the purchase properly);
The specific financial amount and currency designator;
Your physical billing address for global tax calculations.
Critical Security Safeguard: We never send your full payment credentials, such as credit card numbers or bank routing codes, to these partners. That highly sensitive material is handled directly by the payment provider’s secure infrastructure under international financial protection standards.
We may disclose information to comply with legal proceedings or regulatory mandates, protect the public, or safeguard the rights of MoodJoy and its users:
Fulfilling official court orders, subpoenas, or law enforcement demands;
Fulfilling tax reporting, compliance checks, or statutory data collection laws;
Protecting individual or public safety by turning over records of harassing behavior to law enforcement;
Providing evidence of terms violations to an outside party presenting a valid legal complaint.
If MoodJoy goes through a corporate reorganization, such as an asset sale, merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy proceeding, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of our business assets. Under these conditions:
You will receive clear notification through prominent platform channels (like in-app notices) before data ownership shifts;
The incoming entity must abide by this Policy and uphold equivalent security protocols. If they plan to repurpose your data for novel goals, they must secure your explicit consent first.
Outside of the scenarios listed above, data is shared with third parties only when you give explicit, voluntary permission:
If you opt to link your MoodJoy profile to an outside application for cross-platform features, we share baseline elements like your avatar and handle;
If you join a joint brand marketing event, we may share your contact points with the sponsoring partner for prize delivery, provided you agree during sign-up.
MoodJoy Services may link out to un-affiliated external services, products, or links to enhance your user options. This availability does not imply that MoodJoy runs or endorses those external platforms.
MoodJoy exercises no authority over the data protocols, operations, or content of third parties, even if you access them through our app. To safeguard your privacy, review the third-party privacy policies and operational rules before engaging with them. Do not use their systems if you disagree with their terms.
Never share highly sensitive details (such as passwords, financial accounts, or official identity papers) with external platforms until you verify their legitimacy. For example, any third-party portal demanding your MoodJoy account password is a security risk; we will never tell you to give your credentials to an outside party.
If you discover a sketchy external link or service operating inside MoodJoy (such as phishing links or fraudulent affiliate profiles), alert our support channels immediately at service@linkvopte.com. We will investigate and remove malicious items to protect the community.
Depending on your local region's laws (such as the EU GDPR or California's CCPA), you hold distinct legal rights to manage how your personal data is collected, stored, and utilized. We provide direct workflows to help you exercise these entitlements worldwide:
You can request a copy of the specific personal data MoodJoy maintains about you, along with confirmation of whether your data is actively being processed and details about that processing.
If you notice that the data we maintain is incorrect (such as an old phone number) or missing details, you can request that we update or complete your profile records.
You can request that MoodJoy purge your personal data from its active systems. This right typically applies when:
The data is no longer required for its original collection purpose (e.g., your profile has been terminated and transaction histories are no longer needed);
You withdraw your consent for data processing and no other legal justification for processing exists;
You object to data processing driven by our "legitimate interests" and we cannot present an overriding legal reason to continue;
The handling of your data breaks local statutory laws.
Important Limitation: We cannot completely delete records if we have a legal obligation to retain them (such as maintaining financial ledger lines for tax audits) or if the data is required for active legal proceedings (like fraud investigations). In these situations, we will explain why we cannot delete the data and outline the required retention window.
You can restrict or object to how MoodJoy processes your information under certain scenarios:
Processing Restrictions: If you challenge data accuracy (while we verify it) or if our processing is improper but you prefer data restriction over deletion, you can request that we pause active processing.
Processing Objections: You can object to data processing that relies on our "legitimate interests," or object to direct marketing profiles.
Where data processing depends entirely on your explicit consent (such as using your device location for local live broadcasts, or sharing profiles with external apps), you can withdraw that permission at any time. Revoking your consent does not invalidate any processing that occurred before you withdrew it.
In specific regions (like the EU/EEA under GDPR rules), you can request that MoodJoy deliver your data in a structured, standard, machine-readable format (such as a CSV file) so you can port it to an alternative service provider.
If you believe that our handling of your data breaks local privacy laws, or if we do not resolve your data rights requests in a timely or satisfactory manner, you can file an official complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (DPA). We encourage you to reach out to our support channels first to resolve your concerns, but you maintain the right to escalate to regulators at any time.
Identity Verification: To prevent data leaks and unauthorized entry, we verify your identity before fulfilling any rights requests. This ensures that only you or your authorized representatives can modify or pull your data.
No Fees for Standard Requests: Standard requests are free. However, excessive, repetitive, or unfounded requests may incur a reasonable administrative fee or be turned down.
Rights Are Not Absolute: We may deny requests that conflict with legal duties (like retaining tax records), impact public interests (such as active safety probes), or compromise the privacy of other users (such as deleting shared chat logs that contain another person's information). If we deny a request, we will provide a detailed explanation.
We maintain operations and store our datasets on secure servers in Singapore. We follow local data localization laws regarding cross-border transfers and use proper safeguards to verify that your data is processed according to this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
In rare cases, we may transfer data across international borders to satisfy valid legal requests from foreign regulatory or law enforcement bodies:
If a U.S. court issues a valid subpoena regarding international fraud that fits within Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties (MLATs), we may route relevant details from Singapore to the United States;
If an EU Data Protection Authority requests specific tracking metrics to verify GDPR compliance, we may move relevant files from Singapore to the EU.
When sharing information with legal agencies, we take steps to ensure they provide adequate protection for your data and minimize the amount of information transferred.
We do not store your data indefinitely. We balance our operational needs, legal requirements, and your privacy by using clear criteria to set minimum data retention windows. We delete or anonymize your data as soon as its collection purpose ends or when required by law.
We keep data only as long as required to support its original purpose (such as keeping your profile active or delivering core services). Once that purpose ends, the data is deleted or anonymized.
If statutory regulations demand it (such as tax compliance laws or dispute resolution rules), we will keep your data for the legally mandated period, even if our primary service relationship has ended.
In rare cases, we may hold onto data slightly longer to support critical business needs, such as fraud prevention or defending our legal rights. These retention windows are kept to a minimum and remain fully transparent.
When a data retention window closes, we handle the data based on its type:
Permanent Deletion: Most personal metrics (including profile details, UGC uploads, and interaction logs) are safely overwritten or purged from our servers to prevent data recovery.
Anonymization: Data used for service optimization (like high-level usage habits) is scrubbed of individual identifiers like account IDs. These anonymized datasets may be kept indefinitely because they no longer contain personal information.
You can ask us about the specific retention timelines applied to your data (for example, "How long do you keep my login history?"). If you believe we are keeping your records for too long, you can submit a deletion request as outlined in the "Your Rights" section. We will review your request and delete the data if it no longer meets our retention criteria.
Protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data is a core responsibility at MoodJoy. We deploy a multi-layered defense matrix that combines technical, administrative, and physical security measures to minimize risks like data modification, loss, theft, or unauthorized entry. While no security platform is completely unhackable, we update our defenses regularly to keep pace with emerging threats and global standards.
Despite our extensive security measures, no system is 100% foolproof. External factors beyond our control—such as weak passwords, sharing account credentials, or using compromised devices infected with malware—can still put your account security at risk. To safeguard your profile, we strongly recommend that you:
Use a complex, unique password for MoodJoy (combining letters, numbers, and symbols) and avoid using it on other sites;
Stay alert to suspicious messages claiming to be from MoodJoy. We will never ask for your password, bank details, or full identity numbers via text message or email.
Protecting children’s safety and privacy online is a top priority for MoodJoy. In compliance with global child protection frameworks (including Article 8 of the EU GDPR and the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act), MoodJoy Services are not built for or targeted at individuals under the age of 18 (or the specific age of majority dictated by your local laws, whichever is higher—such as 21 in certain regions). We strictly prohibit minors from registering accounts or using any MoodJoy Services, especially age-restricted features like content creation or financial transactions.
In rare instances where a minor bypasses our initial filters by entering a false birth date, we may inadvertently collect limited data, such as the phone number used to verify the account. If we discover that we have gathered data from a minor, we follow global child safety laws and take the following steps:
Immediate Data Deletion: Once we confirm a user is a minor, we permanently purge all associated personal information (including phone numbers, profiles, and activity logs) from our production servers and backup storage systems. We do not keep any copies of this data unless required by law to investigate fraud related to the false age declaration.
Account Termination: We shut down the minor's account immediately and blacklist their linked phone number to prevent them from signing up again.
Parent or Guardian Notification (Where Feasible): If we have a reliable way to reach a parent or guardian, we send a notification via email or SMS to explain the situation. The note confirms that the minor's data has been deleted and serves as a reminder of our age limits. To protect user privacy, we do not share the minor's specific data with the parent or guardian unless required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to adapt to evolving privacy risks, updates to our services, or changes in global data protection laws. We are committed to keeping you informed of these changes and will give you the opportunity to review the revised terms before you continue using our services. For example:
We will clearly post the "Last Updated" date at the top of our Privacy Policy page within the App and on our official website. This date shows when the updated Policy takes effect. You can check it at any time to see if the terms have changed since your last review.
Your continued use of MoodJoy Services after the effective date of an update serves as your explicit acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated Policy in whole or in part, you have the right to stop using all MoodJoy Services (including logging into your account or using in-app features) or request that we delete your account.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy—such as checking on your personal data, submitting a rights request, or reporting a privacy issue—or if you want to learn more about how MoodJoy handles information, contact us at service@linkvopte.com.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to gather standard visitor behavior metrics and internet log details. When you interact with MoodJoy Services, we may automatically collect your information using cookies or similar tracking technologies.
